Be Strong

Know exactly what you want, expect greatness from yourself, work hard and be confident. Never believe all the negativity and mediocrity society feeds you. Take risks and be who you are- take the first step to constant self improvement. Engage your body and your mind, train your bones to be strong and everything in life will become simpler. Every small gain will make the world so much more purposeful and understandable. Work hard, be strong and do the best you can.

About the Author

I am Tejas Jaishankar. I reside in New Delhi India, and I am a strongman. I am the current India's strongest Man under 90kgs. I am a spinal injuries survivor, having suffered 42 fractures in the thoracic spine and 3 burst vertebra in a motorcycle accident in 2012.

I am obsessed with the idea of strength and the great potential that the body has within it. I train athletes for a living and take great pleasure in taking ordinary people and bringing them to the stage where they can hardly recognize themselves. I enjoy every moment of training others and myself. I love the grand tradition and history that the heritage of strength offers and hope to one day make strength just as important in life as people take their education.

I originally created this blog in order to record my recovery and my training. At the time I wanted to be able to be active and strong again. Today I have reached the stage where nothing less than the greatest strength my body can achieve is enough. This blog has now become a notepad of my training thoughts and ideas as well a place where the practical application of strength training methods can be studied and discussed.

I hope you enjoy my posts and good luck in your training.

Here is the first post that started it all- http://extendingmyspine.blogspot.in/2012/12/this-blog-has-been-created-to-record-my.html
