I am Tejas Jaishankar. I reside in New Delhi India, and I am a strongman. I am the current India's strongest Man under 90kgs. I am a spinal injuries survivor, having suffered 42 fractures in the thoracic spine and 3 burst vertebra in a motorcycle accident in 2012.
I am obsessed with the idea of strength and the great potential that the body has within it. I train athletes for a living and take great pleasure in taking ordinary people and bringing them to the stage where they can hardly recognize themselves. I enjoy every moment of training others and myself. I love the grand tradition and history that the heritage of strength offers and hope to one day make strength just as important in life as people take their education.
I originally created this blog in order to record my recovery and my training. At the time I wanted to be able to be active and strong again. Today I have reached the stage where nothing less than the greatest strength my body can achieve is enough. This blog has now become a notepad of my training thoughts and ideas as well a place where the practical application of strength training methods can be studied and discussed.
I hope you enjoy my posts and good luck in your training.
Here is the first post that started it all- http://extendingmyspine.blogspot.in/2012/12/this-blog-has-been-created-to-record-my.html
